September 2010:
Xeronics takes leadership in one of SiLA’s latest projects: the development of a global industry standard for device interfaces supporting Remote Access, Diagnose, Service & Monitoring for life sciene lab automation equipment. Several device vendors, IT companies, system integrators and biopharma companies have joined this project and contribute in SiLA’s technical workgroup. Xeronics contributes with the company’s strong background from multiple system integration projects for corporate remote service platform solutions.
February 2010:
Axeda certifies Xeronics as service and system integration partner for designing and implementing remote service and mobile M2M solutions. Xeronics provides consulting and system integration services to Axeda customers in EMEA.
April 2008:
Press Release Xeronics closes reseller agreement with Axeda, Foxboro Massachusetts (USA), the leading provider of remote service and support IT solutions.
July/August 2008:
Xeronics introduces first integrated ODIS/Axeda solution using Axeda On-Demand service for secure remote device connection, remote access and data transfer and ODIS client and server components for data extraction, data collection & consolidation and business intelligence reports.
October 2008:
Xeronics presents ODIS LabCenter and Axeda On-Demand at MipTec 2008 (Oct 14-16, 2008).
ODIS LabCenter is a dedicated solution for managers of automated labs in biopharma and clinical diagnostics offering Centralized Monitoring and Operation Management including Remote Access to all individual systems and devices operating in different sites.
Axeda On-Demand is the enterprise software system that enables suppliers of lab automation equipment to provide a new generation of high-value remote services to their customers through a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform.

July 2009:
Xeronics installs advanced version of ODIS.TRM at Tecan.
Tecan, a leading vendor of lab instrumentation equipment and solutions for biopharma, forensic and clinical diagnostics. Tecan uses ODIS.TRM for statistical analysis and automated reporting of system test performance and test results throughout Tecan’s V&V department for the BU Clinical Diagnostics. Xeronics implemented continuous collection, consolidation and analysis of data generated from test runs using their standard ODIS platform. Gerhard Schreiber, System Test Manager at Tecan says: “With ODIS.TRM we are now able to reduce severely previously manual work for test results analysis and reporting from all regression tests. By that we can save 10% of our overall system test costs. Furthermore we have ensured that all data generated from test runs is automatically archived and well documented, which is a must to comply with regulatory requirements.”

Xeronics presents LabwareMatch at the SiLA Conference on 19.09.2011 and at the SiLA Labware Standard Interest Group Meeting on 20.09.2011 at MipTec in Basel.
LabwareMatch, the first web based multi-vendor e-Catalog and collaborative product specification management system for labware products used in laboratory automation is now online. The LabwareMatch platform contains SiLA compliant labware product data from different manufacturers and offers full search and compare functionality.
LabwareMatch also lists compatible device models supporting the specific labware product and provides labware specification parameter sets in SiLA standard XML format, which can be downloaded for direct processing by the device software.
LabwareMatch allows labware manufacturers and authorized users to edit product data and add parameters according to the SiLA Labware Specification Standard, which are missing in most product specifications provided by labware manufacturers. It also supports registered users to publish validated data they have used successfully for implementation of specific labware products on specific devices. All submitted new parameters and parameter changes are reviewed and approved by SiLA’s approval board.
We are constantly adding more products to the catalog. All labware manufacturers are invited to join LabwareMatch and provide additional data, for the benefit of instrument manufacturers and lab managers.
LabwareMatch is a free service, financed through sponsoring and advertisement. Please help us to make this project a success !
Alumni UZH, the umbrella organization of the alumni organizations of the university of Zurich, has chosen Xeronics’ web marketplace platform to enable students, employees and lecturers of University and ETH to advertise and find jobs, events and goods and to organize learning groups and other activities.
Xeronics and PASS, founding partners of SiLA, are currently developing LabwareMatch, a web-based e-Catalog for Labware Product Specifications provided by leading manufacturers of consumables used with laboratory automation equipment, such as tubes, microplates, pipetting tips etc.
LabwareMatch allows users to search for labware products by combinations of labware properties and lists compatible device models supporting the specific labware product. LabwareMatch provides labware specification parameter sets in SiLA standard format which can be downloaded for direct processing by the device software.
